The design for the MAKI side tables is based on the use of patterns for the production of textile products. From two-dimensional sections, a three-dimensional object is created by deformation and collage. The MAKI series is characterized by its clear shape and the interplay of overlapping surfaces, proportions, light, shadow and color.

Der Entwurf für die MAKI Beistelltische basiert auf der Verwendung von Schnittmustern für die Fertigung textiler Produkte. Aus zweidimensionalen Schnittteilen wird durch Verformung und Collage ein dreidimensionales Objekt erschaffen. Die MAKI Serie zeichnet sich durch ihre klare Form sowie dem Zusammenspiel aus überlappenden Flächen, Proportionen, Licht, Schatten und Farbe aus.
